Sons.)—None of the characters in Another Such Victory seem to us to have any resemblance to nature. Not only are they im- probable, but painfully weak and decidedly hazy. The heroine, Angel, and her cousin Edmund are really absurd creations, crea- tions which we find a difficulty in believing any one could have imagined. We do not think such men as Edmund and Vavasor ever existed, and if they did, we should not look forward to meeting them with any satisfaction.
