One in the eye

Sir: Judith Cook is so miffed at my review of her Marlowe novel that she bothers your readers with a list of her publications as a theatre historian to demonstrate how wrong I must be (Letters, 22 May). She then announces that she has read my Christoferous or Tom Kyd's Revenge and that in it Kyd kills Marlowe's three murder- ers. He doesn't. Next she says my Marlowe is not stabbed through the eye. He is.
