At Quebec, the bill passed last session of Parliament allowing
the admission of Colonial grain into the United Kingdom, has given much satisfaction. Other beneficial concessions seent also to havetheen made ; but the Committee of Trade complain of duties exacted on the shipping, and have referred the matter to the Lords of the Treasury for reconsideration. Crops had partially failed in the provinces of Quebec and Montreal.
