NOVEL-SPINNING.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE SPECTATOR.

Paternoster Row, November 24, 1845. Sin—My attention has been drawn to the letter of "A London Bookseller," in. the Spectator of Saturday last; and though I do not wish to trespass on your valuable space, yet perhaps you will allow me to ask a simple question.

Mr. James is now publishing a new edition of his works in quarterly volumes, and this year no less than five new novels have appeared bearing his name, three. are now running through periodicals, and two others are printed in a separate form. If Mr. James keeps on at this rate, can you, by any arithmetical process, inform me when we are hkely to behold the last volume of the collected series ?- Echo answers, When! I suspect, with Punch, when "Young England is Prinaa, Minister."
