It appears that Messrs. Young and Webber, found guilty of

"wilful murder" for aiding in the Wimbledon duel, are to he imprisoned twelve months, and kept to hard labour, in the Guildford House of Correction—the last month in solitary confinement. This commuta- tion of the recorded sentence of death is called in the newspaper account, "a free pardon," obtained as the result of intercession with her Majesty, and having the effect of restoring their civil rights forfeited by the conviction for felony.
