Silt.—As Mr. Atkins rightly points out in his charming article, school- mastering was not the proper occupation for Sir Wiliam Beach Thomas. But it was as a master at Bradfield that he met A. K. Collett, where they were exact contemporaries as master and boy, 1891-1896.
