The proposals of the Government for " guillotining " debate

on the Veto Resolutions were issued in the House of Commons on Thursday night. Proceedings in Committee on the first Resolution are to be brought to a close not later than 10.30 p.m. on April 7th, on the second Resolution-not later than 7.30 on, April 14th, and on the third Resolution not later than 10p.m. on the same day. The Prime Minister, in reply to Mr. Balfour' on the same evening, also stated that when the "guillotine " Resolutions in regard to the veto had been passed, he would propose to apply the "guillotine" to the Budget of last year.
