Roiis-Rover.

A steadily prosperous company is Rolls-Royee. Ltd. Not- withstanding the trade depression which it might be supposed would have hit a company such as Rolls-Royce, the profit for the past year of £1.14,197 was less than 13,000 under the figure of a year ago. Consequently the directors are able to repeat the distribution of a year ago, namely, a dividend of 8 per cent. per annum, with a bonus at the rate of 2 per cent. per annum, and after allocating considerable sums to special funds, the carry forward is £71,704 against 165,148 a year ago. The balance-sheet, too, is a good one, showing cash in hand of about £200,000, with British Government and Corporation Securities amounting to L332,000.
