Speakings.—On 19th of April, Belle Alliance, from Bengal, 15th May, Atlas, for Madras ; 16th, Harlequin, for Cape of Good Hope ; 20th, Juliana, for Madras ; 3rd July, Lord William Bentick, and Lady Kennoway, for China. Disasters.—The Cumberland, Cairns, which sailed from Van Diemen's Land in May, 1927, was captured by a piratical vessel under Carthagenian Colours, and all the crew murdered.
