The Liberals are quite right iu doing all in their

power to bring the administration of Cyprus into full publicity, but, we must say, we doubt their wisdom in running down the acquisition itself. After all that can be said against our administration there, the British administration will be a vast improvement on the administration which it has superseded. And• anyhow, all the faults of it will be brought to light while the worst vices of the Turkish administration are never brought to light.
