The Committee of the New Chureh-rate Abolition Society have issued an address calling upon the people to unite in an attempt to obtain relief from Church-rates mid a settlement of " this vital, this vexations, this agitating question :" [We have not yet seen ;my ac- count of the expenditure of the 1«4 Church-rate fund. It was stated at a meeting of the Marvlebone Relbrin Registration Society, on Thursday, that the last 3farylebone register contained 11,798 electors, and that the present contains 11,181; being a decrease of 317 names. Front comparing the registers of 1838 and 1839, it appears that many who voted for time Reformers in 1837, and were omitted in the registers of 1838, are again entitled to the franchise; therefore the strength of' the Relitrwers In the borough has materially increased.
