PARISIAN THEATRICALS.

A grand ballet entitled Le Corsaire, written by MM. Saint-Georges and _-4.auilier' and composed by M. Adolphe Adam, has been produced with ..nfillished success at the Opera. The characters are named after the l'ersunages in Lord Byron's poem; but, save that Conrad is a pirate of the Archipelago and Gulnare is a lady of the harem, the French plot has little in common with the English story. , M. Arsene Houssayo has retired from the management of the Theatre ram*.
