[To THE EDITOR OF THE " SPECTATOR."1 SIR, —Since, especially at this time of year, the Spectator cir- culates freely among the Swedish and Dutch nobility, I venture to express a hope that one of your readers will kindly tell me whether the secret papers of Count Axel Fersen escaped the Germans, and, if so, where they now are. I know that about 1913 they were in the possession of a certain noble lady, at her house in Belgium or Holland, and that she was the descendant, in the female line, of Count Axel Fersen.—I am, Sir, &c..
