The hospital ship Dover Castle, formerly a Union-Castle liner, was

torpedoed and sunk without warning in the Megiterranean last Saturday. She was struele by a torpedo at 6 pan., and again by another torpedo at 8:a0 pm. Evidently, theZertnans want to make quite sure that no hospital ship should enjoy the benefit of any doubt. All the wounded. and siek.ancl-thelospitaleitaffs.were saved, but six members of the crew are Missing—probably killed by the explosions.
