The Economic Section of the League has prepared these "two

volumes from the official replies to an inquiry as to how far the various nations in the League had acted on the recom- .inendations" of the Brussels Conference. It is instructive to notice that, of all the countries, Great Britain and the United States alone bad balanced their Budgets. The details given for each country are full and interesting, especially in the case of Italy, which fills the whole of the second volume with her reply.
