Dod's Parliamentary Companion for 1912. (Whittaker and Co. 8s. Od.

net.)—The "Companion" has now reached its eightieth year, thus dating back to the Reform Bill of 183E. It gives the polling of the last election with the numbers of the several con- stituencies, biographical notices of members of the two Houses, and an account of Parliamentary procedure. We have observed a misprint in the numbers of the polling at Gloucester, three figures

being given instead of four. There seems to be a similar error in the Northwieh Division of Cheshire, where the defeated candidate is credited with 574 votes only, as against the 6,071 of the successful.
