PLANNING AS TREASON SIR,—The following is an extract from a

speech by Lord Harewood, reported in the Yorkshire Post on April 21st : " I submit that any energy that is diverted from the main object of winning the war, in any other direction, even that of planning for after the war, is energy misdirected ; and it is difficult to characterise it under any other name except the very ugly one of treason."
