The R.I.B.A. Drawing Series (Country Life. and Paul Hamlyn lOs 6d each). The RIBA COP iection of architectural drawings is a vast and all too little-known repository of fascinating things. They deserve to be better known and the institute has commenced a series of well- Illustrated monographs, based on drawings in the collection, under the general editorship of- John Harris, the curator. The eight booklets at present available cover a wide range, from stage designs to Indian architecture and the British. They are well produced, eminently readable and reasonably priced.
