According to "A Master of Arts," who writes to the Standard from Oxford, recent inquiries have discovered that the Reverend W. G. Penny, M.A., a student of Christ Church, had joined the Church of Rome, and "had been a Romanist for some months past, retaining his studentship and livings." At a Chapter held on Wednesday last, his name was struck from the books of the College.
