(To THE EDITOR or THE " SPECTATOR.") Democritus Min." quoted

the admirable theological

Limerick attributed to the author of .4 Spiritual Aeneid:— " There was a young man who said ' Damn!

It grieves me to think that I am Predestined to move In a circumscribed groove,

In fact—not a 'Bus but a Tram.'"

Probably he has not heard of the sequel to this Limerick, which may possibly be attributed to the same author :— " But then he went on to say 'Hell!

It is really much harder to tell If the driver's some odd Super-sensual god Or just a molecular cell."
