On Saturday last Consols left off at 891, 1 for

money, and 89i for account. Yesterday they closed at 89, for delivery, and 89.1 for time. The transactions on the part of the public have been limited, but the more settled state of the weather and the increased ease prevailing in the discount market —the lowest rate for short-dated paper being 31 per oent.—have had a favourable influence on the market. The Government broker has continued his purchases for the reduction of the Na- tional Debt, &e., and the Reduced Three per Cents. have realized 90. The stock of bullion in the Bank of England is 14,489,612!.; in the Bank of France, 19,959,1201.
