The prospectus of the Eastern Exchange Bank, with a nominal

capital of 2,000,000/., in 100,000 shares of 20/. each, has been issued. The head establishment will be at Liverpool, and it is proposed to have branches at Alexandria, Bombay, Calcutta, as well as in China and Australia. There appears to be a wide and profitable field for such an institution.
