SIB ,-I have delayed my answer to Mr. Wilson's letter until I could refer to We " Letters of William Law." Absence from home has prevented me from making that reference until now. The letter as printed in the Spectator of April 9th is absolutely correct. Mr. Wilson's proposed amendment would never have occurred to one who is acquainted with the thought of William Law.
