We are very glad to recommend to all interested in

the study, a cheap edition of The Resultant Greek Testament, by Richard Francis Weymouth, D.Lit. (Elliot Stock). It is a most con- venient statement and exhibition of what has been done in the criticism of the New Testament text, giving "the text on which the majority of modern editors are agreed," with the readings of Stephens, Lachman, Tregelles, Tischendorff, Lightfoot, Ellicott, Alford, Weiss, the Bale edition (1880), Westcott and Hort, and the Revision Committee. It is prefaced by a hearty commenda- tion from the Bishop of Worcester.
