after an inquiry that has continued for the almost unprecedented period- of forty-six days; determined on their report. The report, contrary to expebtation, is in favour of the bill ; Which now will, without doubt, pass into a law. Such was the interest felt in the measure, that upwards of fifty Peers voted. The majority in favour of the bill was twelve.
