" SPECTATOR."] Sin,—The poet Cowper aptly expresses the feeling of many persons to whom insult may have been offered, and the words are worth recalling in connexion with the article in your issue of December 23rd. They will be found in the poem " Conversation," and are as follows :— " A moral, sensible, and well-bred man
