" LOYALTY TO OUR KING."

[To nu EDITOR OF THE " SPECTATOR."] Brit,—In your number of October 28th " C. S." writes very truly of the appreciation of the English people of " the self-sacrifice of our King and thanking God daily for him." But it is in the Colonies that he is most fully appreciated. How many in England have given up liquor because our King set the example? The King is the head of the Army; be gave up liquor during the war for the sake of his country. Has a single military mess done so? Lord Kitchener followed his King. Almost the whole of Canada has gone dry, and other Colonies, but what about English loyalty?
