The Testimony of the Four Gospels Concerning Jesus Christ. By

the Rev. Charles Voysey, B.A. (Williams and Norgate.)—This book would be of no importance but for the recent action of some leading members of the Unitarian body in regard to the author. Sensible people have long since taken Mr. Voysey's measure, and know that he has no claims to be listened to either as an inde- pendent thinker or as one who presents the thoughts of others. But it is strange indeed that a writer who expresses himself as Mr. Voysey does in this volume about the teaching of Christ—we will not pain our readers with quotations—should be recognised as a member of the Unitarian body. We have heard of a protest. Surely this should be given with all possible emphasis.
