[To THE EDITOR OF THE " SPECTATOR."] SIR,—I have read with much interest the above-named article in your issue of July 23rd (p. 113). Does the reviewer know the splendid address by Archdeacon Wilberforce on "The Blessed Sacrament" in The Power that Worketh in Us, a book published by Elliot Stock, 62 Paternoster Row, B.C.? In that address he uses the following words: "The whole universe is the Word of the Father in diffusion; the man Christ Jesus is the Word of the Father in Incarnation; the Blessed Sacrament is the Word of the Father in concentration." But the whole address must be read in order to understand that it is not two or three different Words, but the one Word under different Sussex.
