Son.)—The speciality of this atlas is to give, in the first place, ample information on the physical geography of the world, and in the second to connect with this the political geography. Beginning with mathematical geography, it goes on to give the -contours, the river-basins, the geology generally, the oceanic currents, the climatology, the geographical distribution of plants and animals. In the political section, languages and religion and density of population are specially represented. The object thus indicated has been carefully kept in view, and a book of considerable value to the student is the result.
