GREAT CRESTED GREBE

[To the Editor of the SPECTATOR.] SIR,—You were kind enough to publish a letter last November on the subject of our inquiry into the distribution of the Great Crested Grebe in England, Scotland and Wales. This year we are continuing that enquiry. We should, -therefore, be most grateful for any information on the nesting haunts of the bird, as the success of our survey depends on the generous support of naturaliststhroughout the country. It is earnestly requested that-all who-can give us help of any kind with this work, especially in the South-East of England, and in all parts of Scotland, will communicate with T. H. Harrisson, Pembroke College, Cambridge.—We are, Sir, &c., T. H. HARRISSON, P. A. D. HOLLOM.
