On the 27th, Frederick Lacy Dick, Esq., Magistrate of the Court at Negombo, Ceylon, and second surviving son of Samuel Dick, Esq., of Upper Mount, Bonchurch, Jae of Wight; In his 32d year. He had proceeded with a few civilian, and a pioneer to a house a few miles distant in pursuit of a notorious burglar, whom the police had, from fear, refused to encounter, and was shot dead though a window by an Unseen hand.
