Our Schools and Colleges, by F. S. de Carteret Bisson,

is a pains- taking compilation, capable, it is almost needless to say, of inde- finite improvement. The editor is, of course, in a great measure dependent upon others for his information, and has doubtless great obstacles to overcome in the indolence or suspicion of those persons. But his own part of the work might be better done. He gives us, for instance, the table of fees for degrees at the University of Cambridge. Why does he not let us have the same information about Oxford ? It is equally accessible.
