A prize of £5, which may be divided. is offered for useful and appropriate meanings for any five of the following words:. Cramble, Whilksome, Marglish; Groption, Limmery, Prasticate,„gamboodle, Jennicote, Gumfrey, Scribble.

- Entries must be. addressed to the Spectator, 99 Gower Street, London, W.C.1, in ifivelopes marked " Competition," and must be received not later thit September 12th. Results will be published in the Spectator of September 21st.
