Disgusted of Pinner

Sir: It seems a pity that such a distinguished writer as A.N. Wilson cannot find enough material for his Diary (19 November) with- out gratuitously introducing offensive refer- ences to the Princess of Wales.

Many of your readers must be as irritated and disgusted as I am by the series of one- sided attacks, some of them vituperative, on the Princess in your Journal.
