OTHER NOVELS -

The Mind of Mark. By H. Herman Chilton. (Arnold. 7s. 6d. net.)--This begins as a novel of business, but soars into a metaphysical conversion about halfway throtigh the book. Although the conduct of Mark Rawson in the Second part certainly belies the whole of his past, it- is difficult to believe that it would have been possible for his friends to make an attempt to shut him Up in a lunatic asylum. - It must be confessed that Mark is more interesting before his conversion than after.
