The most outrageous reference to Professor Laski's death comes from

the notorious Colonel McCormick. " Mr. Laski died at a very early age," the proprietor of the Chicago Tribune is reported as saying, " in a country with socialised medicine. He wouldn't have died in the United States with a good doctor." No one, Presumably, ever dies there under fifty. A pity sometimes.
