The Hamm Gazelle of the 26th instant announces, that the

investi- gation made in the lodging of Dermas had led to time discovery of' papers, the contents of which having been communicated to the Ger- man Governments, had caused the authorities of Frankfort to effect several arrests on the 24th. A wan whose name is well known in the acientifie world was said to have secretly left that city. The Gazette de Cologne of the 26th states that the individuals arrested (twenty-four in number) consisted for the most part of men belonging to the labour- ing class.
