THE LAST OF THE BOTHS.

THE tontine of the Hanoverian demoiselles Born has ended in the marriage of the survivor,—whose name, indeed, seemed incompatible with singleness. Originally there were five of these ladies, the sub- limity of whose pride has made so much noise in the world. Two drowned themselves in the Lake of Geneva ; the other.three flounced into the Thames off Greenwich Hospital, to the unspeakable sur- priso of the 'Waterman, who could not understand why people should take a boat and suddenly fly odds and ends into the water. ADOL- PRINK, the newly-married lady, with another since poisoned, were saved ; and it would have been strange indeed had a dolphin been drowned !

We have no sympathy with the disasters of these heroics, or the final good fortune of the surviving odd fish.
