GREEK ROYALS SIR,—I wonder how Michael Llewellyn Smith justifies the

last sentence in his interesting article 'Greek Royals.' Why should King Constantine's progressiveness he doubted on the grounds that he was brought up in the best traditions of European Royalty .and educated at an English-type public school? To many this might seem a non sequitur.

Is a King of his age who was educated at the Greek Gordonstoun, who won Greece's first Olympic gold medal for many years, and who has travelled widely with his contemporaries, so likely to be reactionary? NICHOLAS JOHN Stoneivays, G odal firing. Stiriey
