A Song in the Bath SIR,—Before Quoodle quits Gower Street,

could he answer a question which has been teasing me ever since I read (in the Spectator for August 13) that he sang John Betjeman's 'Subaltern's Love Song' in his bath? To what tune does he hymn the praises of Miss Joan Hunter Dunn? I say 'hymn' because it goes well to the tune Slane (No. 565 in Songs of Praise), but I should be grateful to know of any alternatives.
