Get it right

Sir: Mr Theodoracopoulos has unfairly slurred the reputation of Lord Wyatt of Weeford by suggesting that he was elevated to the peerage for 'licking the right boots' (High life, 26 November).

Wyatt was actually ennobled for ratting on his party, turning his coat and taking Murdoch's shilling. An entirely different thing altogether.
