Sir: Simon Penn's article about transportation of live animals by land and sea, in appalling conditions involving great sufferirg to them, prompts me to ask for more information through your columns, so that the public can help those who work to abolish this terrible live trade.

I agree with Simon Penn; for pity's sake let's kill them before they go.
