From Jessica Pownall Sir: Peter Oborne's article is a good

example of the pro-hunting minority deflecting attention from the central issue by exaggerating peripheral matters. He claims that tens of thousands of people depend on hunting for their livelihood. This is unsubstantiated. The Burns report states that only 5,000-6,000 jobs may be at risk. He says that the legislation is likely to be rushed through Parliament and that should the ban go through, massive compensation costs would have to be tackled. Obome is clouding the issue: foxes are being brutally ripped apart by dogs for nothing other than entertainment. Obome claims injuries to human rights yet has little concern for animal rights. There is no place for fox hunting in the 21st century — it is both cruel and inefficient.
