• * Mr. Frank Pick's originally single-handed campaign against the

design of the King George V Memorial to be erected at Westminster is developing into a crusade which the Memorial Committee cannot ignore. And since the Chairman of the Committee is so wise a man as Lord Macmillan, it certainly will not try. Tastes differ, and no design or siting is likely to please everyone, but a strong case has been made for holding up the present plans for further consideration.
