THE APACHE GIRL.. By Arthur Mills. (Collins. 7s. 6d.) —If

the first half Of this book had not been entirely devoted to the introduction Of the leading characters, and if the quite exciting theft Of the -Ming--vase,' 'with its denouement in the Paris underworld, had taken place in an early chapter, The Apache Girl might have been mildly diverting. The book has many misprints in it, and is written in strange English, to say the least of it. But Yvonne is charming.
