From Messrs. Methuen we have received a timely collection of

speeches and poems in connexion with the war, clearly printed, at ld. each. These include Mr. Asquith's speeches at the Guildhall and in Edinburgh, Mr. Lloyd George's speech at Queen's Hall, the King's message to his peoples oversea, three poems by Mr. Kipling, and one by Bret Harte, written for the American Civil War, but very opportune to-day.
