The Collected Works of Tames MacCullagh, LL.D., edited by John

H. Sellett, B.D., and Samuel Haughton, A.13., M.D. (Hodges and Figgie, Dublin ; Longmans, London), making a volume in the "Dublin Univbraity Press Series," consist almost entirely of contributions to mathematical and physical science. Papers have been reprinted from philosophical periodicals, and Messrs. Houghton and .Allman supply reports of lectures delivered by the writer, who was Pro fessor of Natural Philosophy in the University of Dublin. The volume also contains two papers on "Egyptian Chronology," with especial reference to the period of the Exodus.
