A Little Flutter. By H. Savile Clarke. (Henry and Co.)—This

is a volume of the " Whitefriars Library of Wit and Humour," and comes up to the character that such a series should have better than some of its predecessors. Some of the contents are in a dramatic form ; there the dialogue is always smart, though we cannot profess to like the tone of some of them,having a prejudice against having the deadly sins made a jest of. How ever, many of the items- are not open to any such criticism. Perhaps the poems at the end of the volume are the cleverest part of it.
