SONG.

IF May forgets not April's flowers,

June will,— Even hearts that throb and thrill like ours Grow still.

July forgets what birds and flowers

June had,—

Even hearts whose joy is deep, as ours Grow sad.

The pale leaves hear not what the flowers Heard told,—

Even hearts as passionate as ours Grow cold.
